Well hello daylight savings and almost spring weather. I’m pretty sure it was 55 the other day and I saw snow melting from our roof. Also, the stores are starting to carry shorts, too. That must be a sign that it’s getting to be dress weather again. And since my store (Loft in Newington) just got in a whole new floor set, guess who decided to play dress up, me! Not really a shocker, I know. So I’m looking to you ladies (and gents). What look should I get, I can’t decide.
Summer Shorts
Been eyeing this blue shirt since we got it in. And I guess everyone else has been, too. Because we only had two left yesterday! You heard me, two! Popped on a pair of Nimbus Cloud (that’s light blue in Loft speak) shorts, and a belt. Oh yeah, and a pop of wrist bling.

Blue Pants (So Nice, someone bought them off me)
There’s a blue eyelet cotton pair of pants that came in. Ankles at that. And I never wear ankle pants because I worry they’ll make my hips look huge. Whelp, turns out there’s ways to prove me wrong. Tried these on and immediately got a compliment from a woman. She liked them so much she tried them on and bought them. Guess I wore them well. Oh yeah, and I tried this patterned top on as a dare. I should stop doing that. I always end up liking items I think I hate on a hanger.

Dancing Queen
Okay, it’s pretty evident I like this dress. We only have it in petite, but all be darned if I don’t think I can pull it off. I’m only 5’4″, so I’m on the threshold of petites and regulars anyway. But! I have to say this has such a nice flow, super stretchy (so I could wear it on lazy days) and doesn’t need jewelry to pull it together.
